God's Hands and MJP Peace Center

HCC is committed to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ in our neighborhoods, cities, nation, and around the world. To that end and believing that God wants all His children to know about Jesus, Honey Creek Church has partnered with an inner city Milwaukee church called God's Hands.

We want to affect children by giving them mentorship and a safe place for both recreation and learning about God. Seeing the need at God's Hands, HCC partnered with local companies who donated materials and time to construct the Michael J. Prescott Peace Center.

The MJP Peace Center is located in the heart of the 53206 neighborhood and reaches out to children, youth, and families, providing food, clothing, mentoring and the Good News of Jesus Christ. The MJP Peace Center is dedicated to the memory of a young man, Michael J. Prescott, son of Pastor Rosslind McClinton, who promoted peace in the inner city of Milwaukee. Michael loved to play basketball and dreamed of opening his own gym. Today that is a reality. To hear this incredible story, watch the video below.

In addition to the construction of the gym, Honey Creek Church has been able to provide basketballs, gym shoes, holiday meals and treats, backpacks, school supplies, and a brand new computer lab for mentoring and homework. Over 75 youth are impacted daily.

People can continue to support the good work being done at God's Hands by contributing through the Go Fund Me page

Honey Creek Church and God's Hands continue to build our relationship by attending events at both churches.
